“My siblings and I moved our parents to KG last September, and it was the smartest move we could have made!… Living in their previous home, my dad was declining much more quickly physically, cognitively, and emotionally. My mom was exhausted and stressed from doing her best to take care of her husband. We even hired some at-home help… It wasn’t enough. Like many people, they did not want to ‘burden’ their kids by living with them… Being a Registered Nurse, I was particularly careful in my examination of how Kensington Gardens cared for their residents. We have a private chef who delivers food for dinner, and our suites on the first floor surround a Great Room with a long table where we often eat together. …we welcome visitors, hold holiday and birthday celebrations, Super Bowl and MLB game get-togethers and play dominos or cards, or just have a chat.
